It would have been easy to install if we hadn't needed to move the thermostat which meant adding wiring to it. The Hvac installer had originally put it behind the refrigerator which the heat from the coils affected. Our electrician did it in no time.

Never got to use it. OKAY

This product replaced my old thermostat wire for wire and color for color. The only thing different is the name change of White-Rodgers to Emerson, like my old TV.

I rent so idk when was installed. However I’ve been telling the owner for three years that something is wrong with it because it’s not accurate when it is 75 in the house it reads that it is hotter so the air stays on longer and in the winter it’s 75 in the house and the heat stays on longer to maintain thought that yesterday it was 80 in the house but the thermostat was set at 72 it wasn’t working today it’s just quit… I’m reading that it is hardwired and the landlord is telling me it’s a battery problem always an excuse…

Confusing because the thermostat we received says Emerson but this is a Honeywell listing. Howeve I believe they are the same company.Unfortunately it took a couple of months after installation for us to realize it does not turn on the heater in the house. This was purchased for my senior-aged father so there was no time to try to rectify this/the return period had passed. It was installed by bu one professional and later looked at by 2 professionals when it was discovered the house wasn’t heating. The second installer brought a new thermostat and removed this one. The heater began working immediately. $45 I way too much for something that doesn’t not work correctly
