Works well

This is a very versatile thermostat that will work in a variety of applications. I bought mine to use with an electric heatpump and wanted to be able to adjust the temperature span so that the heatpump would start and run for a longer cycle period. This is much easier and more efficient for the compressor on a heatpump. Many modern thermostates only allow only a CPH (cycles per hour) adjustment that will not limit the on-off times of your heating unit, since the thermostat will prioritize the temperature setting over CPH. This thermostat allows adjustment of the on and off temperature up to 2 degrees on the high and low temp (span) on either the AC or Heating side. It is accurate and so far has worked flawlessly, a bargain compared to the Honeywell thermostat it replaced.

I would have loved it had I picked the right size for my home.It was nice and big

I put in a new heat pump and wanted a new thermostat to go with it. I wanted a four position mode switch, one with emergency heat for when the outside unit gets snowed on. I am impressed with how well this keeps the actual temp matched to the requested temp. I fine tuned it with the setup program to match my new system and the drafty house. The display is well lit with big numbers.

Had to pay HVAC to troubleshoot our heat pump $160. It turns out that the Heagstst heat pump thermostat was the reason we could not get heat into the house.Missed our return window because by the time we called and was able to schedule an appointment with a service agent we were unable to return product.Spend more and get something reliable.

Easy to install , use a jumper wire from R to RH . The thermometer is 3 degrees on the high side , need to adjust .
