I learned on this same set 38 years ago and was happy to find it again! And though I thought only an adult game for me and my husband, the grandkids 4 & 6 couldn’t wait to play it afterschool and invited 2 friends over and soon we had 9 kids showing their moves playing chess. They like to know the names of the pieces and the way they move! Be the Queens Gambit!

Me and my nephew have been using this for me to learn chess to play with him. I like how the pieces give you the short cuts and you know how to move them I just wish the material was a little bit better and a bit more sturdy. But honestly for the price and how quick it came it was great.

This game makes teaching chess so simple and fun. The board clearly shows where to place pieces, and the button pieces are genius—they show exactly how each one moves. I’ve taught multiple people with almost no effort and way less repeating myself.It takes all the pressure out of learning and makes it approachable for beginners. Definitely worth spending a little more for something that’s fun, effective, and frustration-free.

This chess set was the perfect set to help me play with my 11 year old chess master after not knowing how to play this has taught me a lot I definitely would recommend it to any non chess players

Everything was fine until we got mislabeled pieces. Wanted to start playing chess with my husband since we haven't really played since high school and we wanted to provide ourselves with intellectual stimulation. Well, this was a blunder. Going to have to order a regular chess set I guess.
