Not only does it repel mosquitoes and no see ums, it also repels biting flies, gnats, chiggers, and fleas. It has been available in the EU since the 90s and is considered safe.Other picaridin products are usually lotions, so when I found Off had a spray version of picaridin i had to try it. this works VERY well. even when i am at the lake at a wooded area, i will end the day with maximum 1-2 bites when i would normally get dozens.there's only a subtle smell and its not bad, its not greasy, it's overall exactly what you would want in an insect repellent. compared to other similar options it's very cost effective as well.

The mosquitoes have been horrible where I live, and I really hate the chemical smell and nasty feeling of bug spray on my skin, especially in the heat.
