These glasses are beautiful to look at and have a nice weight to them. They feel sturdy in your hands and make for a great weapon if you have an intruder while enjoying a glass of bourbon.

One of the finest and enhances the experience of distinguished adult beverages… The crystal in the hand is well balanced and a perfect weight.Unlike other crystal suppliers…the protective packaging layers is unmatched in this Waterford product. The glasses are wrapped in a fine embossed paper, placed in a cylinder tube with added cardboard and foam. Then packed in a box and placed into another box!! Bravo. Bravo.This is the second purchase of this glass and both were flawless when unpacked. Might I add the unwrapping is a delightful experience as well.

A perfect choice to celebrate the retirement of a dear friend and colleague, who loved the quote printed on the gift box: “Trust me, everything tastes better in these.” Arrived as scheduled despite the busy holiday season. Including a message inside informing the recipient to hand wash only would have been helpful as most of us don’t know crystal can be damaged in the dishwasher, and it’s a bit awkward to say so later on.

My special occasion scotch whiskey or bourbon glasses. For those special times sitting on the porch with my dad. No one else drinks from these just me and my dad.

While they are beautiful, and they have the same capacity, they are not the same as the single old fashioned style that Waterford used to make.
