The only way for the system to work is if you have paid for monitoring My first year included service plan just expired. I never needed or wanted monitoring. Now that it is expired the system doesn't work, you just have a bunch of unconnected sensors and the key pad does nothing. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT AN UNMONITORED ALARM.
