VIBE Slick 6.5” Component speaker - 90/270 W, Black

Great sound for the money and good high/mid range response but very low end (bass drums) need a subwoofer fitting. I fitted these with 2 of the same model (coaxial version) and the vibe slick iso mini amp to my factory head unit as I didn't want to change the head unit because its very intigrated unto the car and has the sat nav and some instrument cluster settings etc through the stereo but the stereo lacked volume when on noisy roads and as its quite a large suv the sound didn't really fill the cabin enough, these along with the other parts fitted have made a big improvement but I think I will be fitting a small underseat sub just to give a bit more bass presence as I listen to a lot of different genres some sound better than others depending on how low the bass sounds in the songs are, bass guitars on most music sound really good and have strong bass sound but as I say low end sounds just don't have the same presence, maybe its because the last few cars I've had have had factory subwoofers in and more speakers than the car I have now? But certainly worth the money to upgrade as a new head unit that has all the same features as my factory one would be £400+ (excluding cheap Chinese ones, which I've had in the past and sound great but the sat navs are ALWAYS excruciatingly slow to load and gather GPS data) so 2 sets of these (1 component and 1 coaxial, plus the mini amp still cost about half what a new head unit would of cost and if have been stuck with the factory speakers which were only 20w rms)

Good sound quality, perfect budget upgrade. Currently have 4 of these around my car avd they sound great.

Installed these is my 2016 VW Scirocco as the stock front speaker had blown. After installing these I was surprised of how good they sound using the stock power from my head unit. It says 40w RMS minimum but my head unit is 20w stock and they are still loud, crisp and have good bass.Highly recommend

These are firmly aimed at the OE upgrade market - upgrading speakers against a stock H/U. Soundwise they're pretty bottom-heavy as car speakers tend to be and can extract considerable volume from pretty low-power amps. They do have quite a sensitive top-end as well, easily pushing announcers into sibilance if fed more than a little treble, so watch that. They do sound awesome for dance/techno but are slightly less suited to Classical and Jazz as they're clearly trying for the biggest punch they can muster on a typically weedy OE amplifier. But, hey, they're not expensive by any means and their ability to turn milliamps to decibels is pretty impressive - even if they're not the most subtle speakers ever they're definitely an upgrade over almost any OE speakers.

I’ve been using these speakers for years now, they sound incredible and on my latest car (mk6 golf), I nearly had an amp installed as the factory head unit didn’t have much volume, but decided to put these speakers in first. Well these are much louder than the OEM speakers for the same amount of stereo power, so these made it sound like I had a new amp installed 😂😂Honestly top notch sound, they can sometimes struggle with piano music, but that’s the only time they don’t sound amazing! Don’t even think about it, just get them 😁👍

Not very happy with this product by the time I actually got to fit them I couldn’t send them back and the cones are made of poor quality something I was expecting them to be have a plastic cone. The sound quality isn’t that great on one side one of the tweeters and the mid range stopped working in a matter of days. I did actually buy two lots of these so I could fit them in the front and the back of my vehicle, but because One was so poor quality, I’ve had to use the second set to make up mount in the front.

Purchased to replace older vibe component speaker and tweeters, the tweeter mount / bracket in the kit is cheap i reused my older machined aluminium housings, everything else is good.Sound quality is good enough, build quality seems good too, and for the price they are great.

Absolutely amazing the difference between these and factory speakers. Replaced the woofer and tweeter in my Mini Cooper S R53.Had to buy the 6.5" Speaker Adapter for £13 but worth it all day long.Used foam backed sticky pads behind tweeter then used the included sticky pads (in vibe box) to stick tweeter to the foam pads inside tweeter housing in door handle area. In my mind this also acts as sound deadoning for the tweeter house but who knows, I know its worked and sounds amazing!The woofers are nice and crisp, not much bass but my R53 has had the channel swap so all bass gets sent to rear anyway for the 6x9's.Very happy with this product.Installation Method:Factory Speaker Wire > Crossover > Crossover to Tweeter & Woofer.All labelled nicely.Running off my Sony Head Unit (4x55w)Used small zip ties to hold crossover inplace inside door above woofer.Very happy with this product.
