Very large healthy bulbs
Of the 3, a squirrel dug one up, one is growing at least 2 inches a day with multiple shoots, and the last is coming along slowly as I have it in a much smaller pot. I'll be using this for shade over a patio chair as they grow quite large. These were packaged perfectly and I waited a bit too long before planting as they were already sprouting inside their cardboard box. Very good price for these.

Do not buy these seeds
Do not buy these seeds- I have grown elephant ears the last few years and never have gotten such lousy seeds. I wanted to get them started early, so I went against my better judgement and ordered them online. Ok, first of all, instead of being large and heavy , like the size of a small coconut- they’re tiny. Like the size of a tennis ball. Ok, so I figured I’d take a chance and give them a try. Out of the three seeds , two were duds and never came up. What a waste of time and effort! Buyer beware!

Dont panic, Jack: these really are Magic Beans !
I bought my first trio from these guys last year about this time, and was very disappointed by how tiny and scrawny they looked and felt.I planted them in with my hardy banana trees without any thought they could end up doing battle for territory, I thought I had been "had". I was wrong. The photos above show the trio I bought this year sitting on a five pound plastic bag of shopping-center dirt, next to a hand rake. As in last year's trio, it is not impressive. The huge bulb with snaky looking shoots was just pulled out of my cold cellar, it wintered over in a heavy duty garbage bag in the root cellar. It eight 48 pounds. It held its own against the banana trees. I only pulled one bulb up to try to winter over, I didn believe it would survive in a garbage bag. Glad I took the chance on it; it's roots rested on dry sawdust.I gave the seller five stars as the bulbs are good ones, but it is indeed a very sketchy lookin outlet, so doubts are not unwarranted.Name of seller ?888 Big Sales or Brand: MW142weird

Good quality can get many out of one
These are long. Packed well. You can cut the bulb and actually get 9 out of 3. Good quality. Not in ground yet

Be Patient! These Take 9 to 12 Weeks to Show Growth!
I purchased a total of 6 bulbs (2x orders) of these Elephant Ears and planted them around April 18th with the bulb tip approx half an inch below the soil surface in gently packed soil. These were an accent planting for my front yard in an area that retains rainwater. I watered them regularly and was extremely frustrated to see no growth/leaves after 8 weeks and ultimately abandoned them believing they were dead.UPDATE - All of 6 of these bulbs have sprouted leaves in the last 10 Days (July 6th) and look strong & healthy. If you're going to purchase these, water them regularly but DON'T expect results for at LEAST 2 months! These look like they have rooted well and will produce those wonderful waxy ears for years to come.

Waste of Money
I was so excited to receive these bulbs and so disappointed once I did. I’ve never seen Elephant Ear bulbs this small but I planted them and hoped for the best. These bulbs have performed as I feared... small, scrawny and very little height. The giant elephant ear bulbs that I bought at Sam’s Club (for half the price) were planted at the same time and lush, thriving and are Well over 6 feet tall now.

Very Small and have mold on them
Edit: all bulbs started to sprout so I placed them in pots to start growing, only 1 grew leaves. The bulbs that came were very small and covered in mold. They were shipped wrapped in a styrofoam tray and newspaper that was then wrapped in packing tape. Time will tell if they actually sprout or not. When I placed my order it said it was coming from a greenhouse in CA, when they arrived they came from a shop in GA. The name of the seller has changed 3 times since my order was placed 10 days ago.
