Drayton 808015 RT212 15mm Angled TRV, White

Needed to replace a number of original thermostats that came with the property. These fit and function perfectly. No Issues since fitting. No idea how long they will last. The previous batch I acquired from another retailer are still working after 5 years, so hopefully these will be just as good

Fits and works but looks cheaply made.

Thlis was bought to replace similar on my system. I have replaced several due to the moulding at the base of the regulator ageing and breaking. The system is approx 12 years old.

It does what it is made for, very good price for a thermostat. was easy to fit, will purchase from again

These Drayton/Lifestyle RT212 valves tend to suffer from a common issue, in that as they age the internal plastic mechanism in the thermostatic control breaks under the continuous strain of the valve actuator return spring. This results in the common symptoms by which the radiator goes cold, even though there is no air block. Fortunately, you can replace the offending thermostatic controller without having to drain down the system to replace the entire valve.All this could be avoided simply by using better quality materials. However I suppose Drayton then wouldn't receive the inevitable recurring revenue from people having to replace these shoddy parts.

this fitting had superceeded the original one in situe and as a result did not fit.Returned.

I only needed the white thermostat head on the top of this valve but it didn't seem possible to buy it separately. Nevertheless, it is easy to unscrew the top section and screw it directly on top of my existing right angle valve, without draining the system. The part was a reasonable price and arrived promptly.

Working well so far. Only needed the top regulator bit but works well and a bargain too.
