I used these to support two corner shelves and the only complication was the rebating into the edge of each shelf, which I achieved with multiple cuts with a flat/spade drill bit and then chiseled the joining sections away.Note that you can't use these on two sides of a corner shelf (I was able to fit one side to a wall and to drill through a cabinet to fix the other side)..

All in all it is what I ordered and has done the job.

2 of the 6 in the pack broke. I had to drill out bigger holes than recommended.

Just get a bit of 2 by 4inch up to 4 metres in length and an 11mm drill, LEDs and job done

They fell apart, I am struggling to save the shelves now as this fittings are utter rubbish, I don't understand how anyone could be happy with these, they simply don't work...sorryFour shelves, 8 fittings fell apart instantly...I don't know what to do now, but really annoyed

These look the part, unfortunately there are a few major issues. Firstly the barrel of the bracket is a very tight fit on a 10mm hole - the hole had to be enlarged before the bracket would fit in it.Secondly, the bracket is very poorly made. The barrel is attached to the base plate by, as far as I can see, interference fit and a good bash on the end. There's no welding, brazing or screw-thread involved. Unfortunately this means it can just drop off - see photos.I'm glad I did a test fit on some spare wood before committing for good - it was quite hard to get the broken barrel out of the tight hole. It would NOT have been good if the bracket had broken on the finished shelves, and all my girlfriend's jugs and mugs fell off the kitchen wall!If you have any valuables to put up, avoid these - they are clearly not going to support the 7kg advertised.
