Great book
Just a great book by a great author who gives you a taste of living in Afghanistan during the 80’s. A very powerful story. I also went to the theatre to watch the stage adaptation for the book which was also brilliant.

Very factually written. Found bit too descriptive in parts, but I felt was based on true life experiences and they are harsh sometimes. Enjoyed the style and content and the time differences.
