(1 Skein) Lion Brand Yarn Mandala Sparkle Yarn, Aquarius

My costumer wanted a pink and cyan or teal colored scarf for their daughter and they picked this fun multi colored yarn for the job and it was perfect. Both daughter and the costumer were happy with the pattern and softness of the scarf.

My daughter was BEAMING with how sparkly and beautiful this was for her friendship bracelets!!

I love the colors of the mandala yarns, as for an acrylic lion makes some reasonable soft acrylic yarns .

Nice little sparkle.

This yarn goes a long way. The skeins are large at 5oz. I used 3 skeins of yarn to make 1 blanket. I did find the yarn to be a bit thinner than expected but it worked up okay. The colors are so vibrant and blend into each other with ease. There are many different varieties of colors you can choose from, too. When I finished my blanket, I thought it would be good for the sping/summer time due to its weight.

I love all the Mandala yarns, very versatile and so many different color choices.Can’t go wrong

The feel of the yarn is soft but strong. It doesn't feel rough or scratchy to the skin whatsoever. I am making a cardigan using a 5mm crochet hook and half double crochet stitches.The color draco is much prettier than the picture. I love how the colors blend into the next almost seamlessly.The single thread of gold is much stronger than in other brands of yarn that have a sparkly thread but you still need to be careful as to not break it while doing your crochet. I included a picture of the only time the gold separated and it is only where I began my work.I have already ordered more cakes of this yarn.I tried to take pictures to show the true colors and great quality of this yarn.

What I disliked was the fact that the thread did not match what I was working on, but the texture, the color and the sparkle was amazing

Soft to touch and I like the subtle sparkles. I don't know what I'm going to make with this yet but I'm happy to add to stash and figure it out.
