Helly HansenMen's Crew Jacket

Great colour, light and super comfy

Bought this after buying another Helly Hansen insulated jacket last year which covers -2c - 5c. Great fit for me. Made very well. I needed a light weight jacket. Has a mesh lining but it’s a windwall style jacket perfect for mild winter days and spring.

Really like this jacket, which I thought was a reasonable price for the quality. The jacket has nice detailing, is nice a light and looks lovely. I find the sizing of HH tops a bit odd for me as I have quite wide shoulders and am slim, so in between M and L sizing. This jacket fits well, I'm normally a 40 inch chest and ordered a L to allow for thin jumpers/tops underneath. I have M sized HH fleeces that fit me well too, and one that is a bit short on the arms. I also tried a HH soft shell jacket in M which didn't sit well on my shoulders but the L was too big on the body. I like the brand and will keep an eye out for more.

Great jacket, looks great, plenty secure pocketsand does what I need it to do - Keep the rain off whilst being light enough to wear in warmer seasons.Only downside is the length of the arms/sleeves. Even though I'm reasonably tall, the sleeves come well over my hands. There is velcro straps to overcome this, but clearly this jacket was made for either extremely tall people in mind or those that possess long alien arms. 👽

I don't write many reviews but this purchase frustrated me.There is 2 very similar jackets, externally they're identical:MEN'S CREW MIDLAYER SAILING JACKET 30253MEN'S CREW SAILING JACKET 30263I purchased both...30253 is fully fleece lined and more comfortable, for me, probably good for 0-12C normal wear.30263 is mesh lined and has a fleece collar, more of a windbreaker, good 8-20C.The jackets both seem very good quality.No hood. Waist length. Long sleeves so they don't ride up past the wrist when active. Single internal & external chest pockets on left-side (better for right-handers). It's a pretty straight cut, chest and back is quite 'fitted' and there's space around the waist.For me it was a tough decision but I went for 30253 and returned 30263

Great fit, waterproof and good wind protection as stated.
