The smell, thickness of the product. It effectively moisturizes my hair, and softens my skin. It is an okay value for the money. I will use this when my hair is already moisturized.

Sometimes aloe has... kind of a Not so great fragrance. Sometimes, you buy it and it's disguised well with oils or fragrances, or it's at least kind of neutral. Well, this one was more the first kind. Not so great. The good thing is, you can add your own fragrance to offset that, since this goes nourish skin really well.

Was disappointed with this "Banscalx Aloe Vera" gel as it feels thick and heavy on the skin when applied and continues to have an unpleasant 'gooey' feel, which could be from the ingredient "Carbomer". Doesn't really 'soak' in and gives minimal feeling of relief. Was concerned about the preservative "potassium sorbate", as was my dermatologist who instructed me to discontinue using it. Was drawn to it by the low price, but all in all, I cannot recommend this brand.
