The packaging on these crucibles needs to be improved. They arrived with 2x of the 100g crucibles nested in one 250g crucible and one 100g crucible nested in the other 250g crucible, all in a zip-lock bag wrapped with bubble wrap. At least one each of the 100g and 250g crucible was chipped around the edges almost creating a better pouring spout than the one formed in the lip. The inner surface is just as rough as the outer surface; neither are smooth with lots of pits. The inside should be smooth (not glazed, but at least smooth ready for a glaze). The zip lock bag contained an abundance of chunks and dust. The'll get the job done, but ensure your expectations are appropriate for the quality and price.
