"Nature First" Wooden Platform Toy for Small Animal Habitats

I have one mini rex buck . I bought him this platform back in April for his "Casita" cage to climb in and out of . It was such a big hit with him i placed it inside the cage . He had a platform that came with the cage but it was plastic and had a round divet for the food dish , he loved the platform so much that he lay across half the cage platform and half the wooden one ..i knoew he wanted to sit on just the wooden one so i purchased *two* plafroms removed the cage plastic on and put two of these together making one long platform to sit and perch and stretch out and have a nibble of his sweet grasses on the manger i fixed on the level with the two platforms and of course he has the sturdy legs to gnaw on and the top to chew and nibbble and pull at the natural bark ..This platform is a brilliant buy , rabbits love it and run under the wooden easy to screw on but sturdy but stable legs . Now my bun has sweet dreams and snoozes and chills on double his favourite percher ..i may even get another one making three for one mini rex but one can quite happily suit your adult rex ...i love the fact they are all natural "feel nice " in my hands are "warm" and nubby ...just like a bit of real nature in your home makes my cage a more natural living space for my little guy .. dont hesitate ..your on a winner with these warm in winter and massaging to your rabbits underside feet and back ..

I have two very cute house bunnies, who are unfortunately very fussy and hard to please when it comes to toys! Their favourite toys are cardboard boxes, but they make such a racket ripping them to shreds that I feel bad for our neighbours, so only allow them to play with these in the day!I have bought so many toys for them over the years, but most are just looked at then ignored. This was however an instant hit. The platform is much more sturdy than I was expecting, they can jump all over it without it wobbling, which means they use it more - bunnies tend to not like heights (even small ones!) if they feel unstable, so if it was not made well I doubt it would have been such a big hit with them.One of my bunnies is a huge fan of running up and down our stairs in the evening when they are let out, so I did think that an extra place to jump up on in their indoor run would be a hit, and they really are very taken with this - I'm thinking of even buying an extra one so that they do not need to fight over it! It has certainly made them more active in their indoor run, instead of just sitting around waiting for when they are let out into the rest of the house in the evening!

This item is ok but can't lack strudiness. A few nails here and there so need to inspect it regularly. Only last a few months outdoors before it needs to be binned.

I understand that it's natural and things aren't going to be the exactly the same size however two legs of super skinny two almost the same size and three arrived completely stripped of bark. if Aesthetics is important to you avoid this product. I understand its going to get chewed anyway but its irritating. Again I understand its natural, but I'd recommend soaking and drying this before use because it's dusty, very very dusty.

I got this for my hamsters ferplast duna maxi cage to give it an extra level and it works great. Excellent value and quality, I like its natural wood look.

My hamster used the top for his water bowl (though you could probably fit a Trixie 12inch wheel on there, give or take) and the underneath for an entrance into his burrow. He really loves it, and it's significantly better quality than Trixie natural products!

Bunnies loved it but unfortunately it didn’t last. One leg shorter than the rest and unstable and one panel underneath insecure, revealing a tac!! Not rabbit friendly or worth the money
