Bought size 10 for my 12 year old whose waist is that of a 8 year old.. size 10 bottom fit great. her rib area was a bit big so I sewed it to be smaller. Love the shape, quality and material. Since is IS 12, the padding on the chest is great~

I bought the peach criss-cross top & white bottoms with black polka dots in size 10yo for my daughter that is 4'11" and 89#s. It fits her perfectly and is super cute in my opinion. The suit is completely lined. The only thing to be mindful of is that the padding in the top is not the best. After her first dive into the pool it was very apparent the pads were two very small circles that had shifted. May want to replace with something that has more coverage and less likely to move.

I could buy a similar suit at Old Navy. It’s just okay. Kind of ran large in the bottoms. Saggy bottoms.

I love that the fabric is thick and durable. The color is beautiful we bought the green. The bottoms are modest and so is the top.

The swimsuit fits well and my daughter likes how it looks...The color is lighter than pictured (it almost looks a little washed out) but it did not seem to bother my daughter. However, it still has a chemical smell to it.. I wanted to wait to write this review and see if it would go away after a few washes, but it has not. We have washed it a several times but it still has that weird chemical smell. It fits well but you would have to decide if the smell is worth it.

These are huge! I had to recheck order to make sure I hadn’t ordered an adult size. They had a weird nipple guard, which would be discarded immediately. Retuned as size 12 was much too big for my 11year old.

Just for context, my daughter is 5'4" and 115 lbs.... I was scared to order but after reading some of the reviews I purchased a size 12. This fit her perfectly. She was happy and I was happy because she was happy. Would order again. It's very stylish for a preteen.
