Quick file transfers and portability
For 2 TB, this price was great. It works well with my HP laptop and transfers video files with ease.The only reason why I took a star away was because the cord to connect is proprietary, meaning it's not a generic usb cord. It will connect to any usb port, but the port connecting to the drive is a special type of plug; it's not usb-c. You need to take great care of this cord, because if you lose it, you will have to order a new one just for it.Other than the special cord, it works great and I love it!

Works great for gaming
I bought two of these. One I use to take my movies and music catalog with me when I travel. The other I use for gaming. Been using it for well over two years now. It's great for storing and playing games. I've had zero issues with it. The cable is a bit touchy, so I ended up replacing it with a much nicer one, but since that's not a big deal I didn't deduct points. The slim, lightweight design means it travels well. I highly recommend using a strip of adhesive Velcro to keep it in place and prevent it from getting knocked off your desk or whatever. Whether you use it for saving photos, video, music, or games, this is a great external storage device.
