Ebaco AV/CVBS Composite to HDMI Converter Scaler 1080P (AV to HDMI)

I've used other devices that worked, but this one had issues when connected to the capture card on my computer. I believe the issue had to do with the oldest game systems did not have a video out signal of 640x480 (often considered "standard definition" for US NTSC TV signals). Unfortunately, NES, SNES, some N64, some PS1, and some Saturn titles often didn't hit that "minimum" resolution. So the signal got screwed up somewhere - it would appear on the computer screen, but when I switched the input on my TV, the passthrough wasn't working correctly. I'm not sure if there was some kind of copy protection scheme or the resolutions weren't scaling correctly, but unfortunately, this great value device just didn't fit my needs. Best price online, though, I sure wish it did what I needed, but that would just be TOO lucky!

IF you are interested in purchased a RCA to HDMI Conversion box regarding old video gaming technology, then be aware that you will able to play Nintendo 64, PS2, Nintendo Consoles Game Cube and Wii. However, audio isn't enabled which means you will time your gameplay timing and in game danger audio cues as less than five minutes ahead. I think this gaming equipment was okay and it is your decision at the end of two days.

Works well. It only comes with a USB for its power source. Would have been great if it comes complete with all the necessary accessories (hdmi and rca cables). The packaging is pretty average and not sealed.

Works as described. Able to run old DVD with composite into monitor with HDMI. No issues, great for the price.

Thos is a great resource for an update to an older sound system without bluetooth.

It does the job it is supposed to. I bought this to use with older gaming systems on my newer tv since it did not have AV composite inputs. This converter works and I was able to connect a N64, GameCube, and Wii to my TV through HDMI. The one issue I have with this is that there is a slight lag when playing games. It is very small and almost unnoticable until you play something that requires precise timing. Otherwise this is a decent little converter.
