I didn't look closely enough at the picture or description. I automatically thought it was a canvas type outer shell. It is a fleece sweatshirt with pockets.

I wore it for a couple hours before deciding to return it. You would not think that the side the zipper pulls were on would be a big deal until you go to zip the jacket up, but it was.Otherwise, the jacket seemed to be a quality garment.
