When it comes to the Korean brands, we always think about good cost performance, clean & active ingredients and cute packaging. IOPE is a different type of Korean brand - daughter of Korean beauty conglomerate Amore Pacific ( which has Sulwhasoo, Innisfree and many, practically many other Korean brands.) IOPE is placed in the upper tier, after Amore Pacific and Sulwhasoo, and has been pretty popular for past 30 years with their iconic retinol eye cream in South Korea. (I am Korean, so I know :)This hydro / hydro serum is atypical luxury brand approach - beautiful texture, strong scent and exotic plant extract. So let me tell you why I think this way.Ingredients:To be honest, it's nothing like Korean skincare brand, rather it's more French luxury formula. It has pretty texture centered approach, rather than focus on the cleanness and high active ingredients. It has a lot of polymers and short chain alcohols to enhance the texture and practically I believe the active ingredients are pretty meaningless. It contains titanium dioxide as well, so it's more or less a primer rather than hydration ampoule.Texture:The reason why I gave 5 stars despite of disappointing ingredient list because it's just simply different approach. It gives instant soothing, hydration, glow and it doesn't get sticky. It leaves very natural shimmer layer due to the right amount of titanium dioxide, and it gives typical matte outside - hydrated inside type of feeling.Effectiveness:To be honest, it doesn't hydrate skin very well, yet it still gives very healthy glow look. As most luxury brand, they focused more on texture & look, so it's very understandable.Scent: Unlike many other Korean brands, it has very obvious scent in it. It's not so overpowering due to the note (more cooling / sea-breeze type of scent), yet it's definitely there and it stays.Buy this if you want: to try out Korean masstige brand and need a serum that gives "lit-from within"' lookDon't if you : expect typical Korean brand. It's different, it' has a lot more French/US luxury brand philosophy in it.

I enjoy using this product, although I'm not sure its worth the price. It smells nice and doesn't feel sticky after applying, but I didn't see any long term improvements from using this product

This has plumped up the areas around my eyes and mouth. The lines and wrinkles aren’t as noticeable. You don’t need much, this lasts a long time.

I was impressed with this products packaging and product itself. I love the container and how easy it is to get out the amount of product you need. I also think the container looks very high end and love how the serum looks in container. The product itself is a clear gel that sinks so nicely into my skin for a dewy look. I like how this serum does not leave my face sticky , but smooth on my skin and very moisturized. This is my second product from IOPE and by far this is the best product . I believe the price point is a bit high , but for performance of product and size it is okay.

Surprisingly, I think it has made my skin smoother within a few months of using it after toner. I do feel how my skin appreciate it after each application, I do feel the difference when it comes to hydration.My skin is a mix but I lean on the oily side so I do not use creamy products, this one is gel and light, does not give me break outs and smells good (light fresh scent).There’s nothing else I need to say. I like it and I will buy it again.

It is much thicker than the typical serums I use. Unfortunately it has an extremely strong scent that I am not a fan of. I wish they dialed down on the scent of this product especially since this is a facial product. I would probably not buy again due to the scent. The bottle is a pump bottle and it comes with a lid so that it is sanitary. It does seem to help with moisturization and keeping the skin plump looking. If you don't mind heavy scented facial serums then I say try this, if you do, then move on.

Male user here.Cardboard box is nice, has a pressed pattern that is impossible to photograph. Ingredients correctly listed.Plastic container is of high quality. Seem to be nicely printed (instead of having the print on stickers). Pump works nicely. I do not understand why the bottom silver cap also comes off. It has a hole to let the air in, so the pump does not let ear into the container, but the inner volume compresses by the bottom of the container sliding toward to top. So this pump solution does not have a tube that will determine how much of the liquid can be pumped out of the container. But this solution also also not let the last few percentages (5) to get harnessed. (This is the same for most pump solutions).It has a nice scent, seems like naturally coming from the ingredients, although the most listed ingredients sound like some artificial chemicals.It looks like a very nice serum, but it is still way overpriced.
