Mrs. Meyerã‚´S Clean Day Body Wash, Lavender, 16 Fl Oz

I've been on a hunt for affordable, effective vegan-friendly products for the last year and a half. I was excited when I found this product, especially since it was at an add on price. This wash smells great and it didn't break me out, which is great. However, it doesn't lather well even with a lot of effort and I don't feel it effectively cleans. Bummer. Gave two stars because of the smell and it being a vegan-friendly product, but will not buy again.

Product is great but I only received half because the cap was popped open and half of it spilled into the box and all over my other items. I will not purchase again, they need a seal.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product since MR Meyers was bout out by The Caldera Co. When they were sold, on the one hand, more products came out which is good but I have noticed that their signature "Lavender Scent" had changed and not for the better. I have been disappointed that it is barely noticeable in the dishsoap and the problem with that is that if I wanted unscented, that is what I would buy. The signature fragrance I had long stocked my home with for years, literally because out family scent. Some of the other products it is a bit stronger now but it is not the signature scent. It seems that have increased the orang oil but they have lost something in the process. However, I do love this new product line for the body and have long suggested to the Meyers family that they launch products like this so I am so pleased here...but it is still not the signature scent.I wish they would simple do 2 things:1.) bring back the original formula for Lavender and translate that into the lotions and potions they have done here.2.) This new Lavender scent should be called Lavender-Orange...and it is lovely but it is not the original lavender and I think many would agree that we want it back.The product quality for lotion and body wash is really nice. Some complained that the soap does not suds a lot and that is the way it is supposed to be for environmentally friendly soaps. You need the suds to get the job done - that is psychological marketing and does nothing except make you use too much water which is not a good thing.'Anyway, I love the new line, I like the scent but want the old back too. I will also try more scents and products in this new line.

The product is fabulous- the new bottle is horrible!!! With arthritic hands it is almost impossible to get the product out of the bottle, and the cap does not screw off! I've been a loyal Mrs. Meyer's customer for over 20 years- but this new bottle is enough to make me find another company with more customer friendly bottles! I called the company and shared my thinking- the person who I spoke with was courteous and offered me a product coupon, but I did not feel as though the company will change their bottle design. It must be less expensive for them, thus more profitable- too bad that is the main focus! :(

The product itself is amazing. Its reasonably priced and smells amazing. I have the Mrs. Meyers cleaning spray, lotion, hand soap and I've been getting the body wash for a bit. The products are amazing with scents that smell good and are not overpowering.The one star rating is more because of delivery. The first time I ordered this off Amazon, no issue at all. The bottle itself was in it's own individual bag inside the box. Everything was intact upon arrival. I order it odd Amazon when it's out of stock at the stores. This time when I ordered it off Amazon it was just the bottle itself in the box. Whether it was packaging it that the lid got loosened or in transit, I'm not sure. But the lid definitely loosened and a little less than half of it leaked out. So things happen, I get that. But because it was not in any other type of bag when placed in the box, it leaked through the box and onto the floor where the package was left. If you look at the picture with where they left the packages (delivery person followed the notes, by the way. Totally no issue with where they left the packag) it is right in the middle of where you walk to go in and out of the door. It's body wash..so it's slippery. It's also on my porch where there is carpeting. Not necessarily a good scenario.Disappointed and honestly I've come across several issues with Amazon lately and just could not bother dealing with anyone. So I went for the review.I guess just be mindful when ordering these types of things.
