I bought this as an additional rear tail light, to place on left rear bike frame and angle out so these lights shine on ground at least 3 feet away from the back of my bike; the minimum distance motor vehicles must stay away from bicyclists on the road in my state. Using brand new batteries instead of those supplied, the brightness of these alternating lights I'm sorry, are very dim and can hardly be seen at night compared to other lights I have, this is my disappointment.If you look closely at the picture supplied by seller, there is not one red/white tail light but two mounted on their bike. The red/white tail light on the front is illegal to use in because it can be misinterpreted as an emergency vehicle like a police bike or police motorcycle. Then there is another tail light that is mounted also on the rear, each pointed in different directions that reflect off the back wall. The photo has also been edited, because the red streaks on the back wall were edited in, these lights do not shine like this, they are spots not lines; which is dishonest and very deceptive.This particular red and white is called a tail light because it can only be mounted in the rear section of the bike, please note the other colored lights are not called tail lights. Besides having two lights in sellers picture which is misleading since this light and the other colors are sold individually not as a pair, the bike is close to the back wall that results in reflections even with dim lights; this is minuplation of the light - when riding the bike at night the light is directed only on the ground. I own a pair of green Activ Lites on my bike wheels and they are very bright unlike this light and lasts a very long time under batteries till they start to dim.Being a very good customer of Activ Life the seller and prowd to own their wheel bike lights called Activ Lites sold here on Amazon, I registerd as a VIP customer of theirs via the insert in the product box with my first purchase. Because of the visibilty of the wheel lights, I have been stopped and asked where they are sold and always gave the sellers name on Amazon and know they soon purchased them because I see them riding with them. I decided to contact the seller directly and must say their customer service is very good and so is Amazon. I shared with them a post I placed on my own Facebook wall being excited about their Activ Lites, that included the link on Amazon to buy them and mentioning their lifetime warranty; so yes I really like this seller and the other lights of theirs. Active Life sent me a speedy refund via PayPal that I appreciated, said to keep this light and I only wish I could recommend this particular light, but it just is not as advertised that I feel very bad about. Maybe they can get the manufactur to improve the design of this light, like maybe the globe style dome cover that will allow more light to come thru, they can create a second version of this one as new and improved like other Amazon sellers.

The media could not be loaded.  The Activ Life Disco bike light is awesome! So good, that I had to buy a second one, for the rear of the bike, which I highly recommend, for even more coverage area. I was amazed how much coverage there actually with two lights. The batteries don't run down as quick as I thought they would, either. That's a real good plus to these lights. I am considering a third for the middle part of frame. I take my "discycle" out almost every night on the unlit, safe roads just to play music to the beat of the flashing lights. (Plus, I just like to show them off.) I highly recommend putting on some old sckool funk and make any dark road your own Groove Line. These lights are a great buy!

Cool product & small size but the lights do not really spin like a “disco light”. The different colors just flash through the plastic prism. Still, a cool looking effect. It is bright for its small size.

It broke when my husband was putting the batteries in. Very disappointed.
