Marie Sharp's Belizean Season All, 10 oz | Product of Belize

Perfect for use in Belizean dishes. It is hard to find good recado like the kind used in Belize. I usually get it from family when they visit back home & where I live in Alaska, it impossible to find a decent substitute so when I saw this I was very excited. I opened & used it the day it arrived & it did not disappoint!! It immediately reminded me of my mother's kitchen & the various aromas. The taste was on point & my family loved it. It was easier than mashing the recado down like normal & adding water. I highly recommend this to anyone that uses recado to cook with. Mrs.Marie Sharp is a brand I have used all my life so I had faith the seasoning would be great & it absolutely was!! If you like hot sauce please try Marie Sharps varieties of habanero hot sauces, they are spectacular!!! They compliment Belize dishes like no other!! I don't always make traditional Belize "sauce" to mix in my food when I cook stewed chicken or other Belizean dishes but I make sure I always have my MS Hot sauce!!!

Very good recado seasoning! You are cooking authentic Belizean food with this seasoning! Used it in making Belizean stewed chicken and grilled chicken. Highly recommend!

Pretty tasty marinade - the red-pepper and vinegar flavors are the strongest, FYI.I've only used it with chicken - I usually dilute it by pouring some beer/veggie oil along with it - maybe some garlic/onions, too, or using it as a base for some sort of sauce. You really don't need to use a lot because the color and flavor are fairly strong. I've been to San Pedro, Belize and LOVED the Mayan chicken I was eating at the restaurants there. Sadly, this doesn't capture that flavor, but you can make some tasty chicken wings, fish or use it to enhance your homemade BBQ sauce or make a nice spicy mayo.If you like Marie Sharp's sauces you should definitely try it.

Terrible. The bottom exploded all over the box and what is left in the container is grimey and super thick

A Must have for Belize Stewed Chicken dish. Tastes great, try the Maria Sharps Habenero Sauce. Its made with peppers and carrots.
