Great Bags with professional sealer
I've used these bags for years and I love them. However, if you don't have a professional sealer, they don't work properly.

It is for Chamber Vacumm Sealer Only
It is not designed for the cheap air sucking sealer machine. I don’t understand why so many people gave it one star rating. It is for chamber vacuum sealer only. So it doesn’t matter flat or textured.

won't seal properly
I have used a chamber vacuum sealer for years. I needed some extra-large bags so purchased polyscience bags and mid cook the seal on bags released. I always double seal every bag before starting sous vide process. including this cook. After this failure I sealed and tested additional bags and what looks like successful seal comes apart very easily!!Perhaps I can recalibrate this machine to heat/seal longer. but I have never had this problem before!Polyscience bags are made in China. I will try to find and purchase higher quality bags.

GREAT
Arrived as ordered and works well with my vacuum sealer. No issues with the delivery or the order itself.

Great bags, but considerably more expensive than same size generic bags.
thickness.I ran out of the small bags first, and bought some generic replacements online at a vacuum sealer specialty site (3.5 cents per bag there vs 18 cents per bag here, although although min quantity was 1000). I found the quality of the generic bags to be only a little inferior to these, and they were missing the easy tear notch which was a little annoying, but the price difference was huge. Also, the generic bags were available in many more sizes.NOTE: These are designed for use with chamber vacuums (as opposed to food saver style vacuums that suck the air out and then seal). Beware of this before you buy these, and if you're using a chamber other than the Polyscience 300 make sure the opening on these bags will fit your seal bar.

There is no texture lining the plastic so no air ...
There is no texture lining the plastic so no air escapes when you close the lid on your sealer. The texture on competitive bags create a microscopic gap for air to escape when the vacuum turns on. With a perfectly smooth surface it's a crap-shoot whether you'll get a vacuum.

Unusable - smooth interior ( vs. textured) means the seeker cannot extract the air and pull a vacuum.
