Got this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves to use it when making her hot tea, hot cocoa, etc. it’s a good quality metal kettle. Easy to use and you can hear the whistle from across the house so you can’t miss when it’s ready.

Don't follow silly instructions. This is a good product, it works. No off taste in the boiled water. It's a good tea kettle. It doesn't heat faster than any other product. Just turn the power to high, boil, use. Don't keep it at medium, that takes close to 30 minutes to come to a boil. On hight about 20.

If I could, I’d give this kettle a 3.5 stars. I needed a tea kettle fast as I had a friend coming over for tea. I ordered this one. It is cute, boiled water, and does the job. But you get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive kettle. But note that it is small and very lightweight. Feels cheap when you pick it up. I don’t drink tea and rarely need a kettle so it’s fine for me. But if you’re a tea drinker or boil water a lot, pay a little extra and get something better.

Works as expected. Only 2 things to point out. The handle does get quite warm/hot. Not to the point you can't lift it but just be aware. Also, the fill line is not visible on the inside that I could see. Not a big deal as it is pretty obvious where it should be, just a note. All in all a great value.

Please, please wipe it really well after first boil. I didn’t expect black yuck on my paper towels. I am just glad I didn’t use my white tea-towel to dry the inside of the kettle. Maybe that black is polish? I really don’t know. All I know, I will do another boil and wipe really well again before I put the boiled water in my body! Handle does get very warm. Whistle isn’t really loud. If you happen to be in your bedroom or basement while it is boiling, and those rooms aren’t close to your kitchen, you may not hear the whistle. The kettle is pretty light weight. I only wanted a small kettle, it holds 1.5 quarts.

A very good quality kettle. Light and easy to take around with. It boils quite quickly as well, which is something I really like about this product. I highly recommend it.

This is a very lightweight kettle, I have purchased others for a little more that have had more heft. It does the job, but it can be better. For one the base is really thin and I have to make sure the flame is not too high. The handle of the kettle gets really warm, doesn't look like it's made of a suitable material. I was able to grip it but others in my household had to grab a towel to pick it up. It also does not whistle so it boiled for a while, before I realized the water was boiling.Also the pour is not good as it leaks a bit from the side. I can just flip open the spout, but it would have been nice to get a thinner pour for my pourover coffee. It's ok if you're trying to find something that will boil water for a really low price but I would recommend paying a bit more and getting a better kettle if you're going to use it regularly.

A nifty little tea, kettle, and a reasonable value for the money. Although it is advertised as a stainless steel tea kettle only the bottom is made of steel, and this is the reason for not giving 5 stars. The kettle itself is aluminum. I like its looks and its size. The whistle is clear and not so loud as to be obnoxious. Its construction seems durable, and with normal use and care, should give several years of good service.
