This was great for a few weeks, as it kept our kiddo from gnawing on the wood and he seemed pretty pleased to chew on it. But then he figured out how to hook his bottom teeth under the edge while chewing and it started to come up. I reattached it using a hair dryer per the directions, but he was able to pull it up again within a few days. And he was really chewing on the adhesive the second time around, which seemed like a terrible idea.So I decided to remove it. I actually heated it up a bit to make it easier to detach, but it still pulled off finish and wood from the crib rail. I’m FURIOUS about it and am really regretting that we used this in the first place. I definitely don’t recommend!

WORST item I've bought in a long time. Followed easy instructions, wipe down with alcohol, peel tape and stick....yeah, no. It only stuck to one side. Okay, tried recleaning with alcohol, still wont stick on inside. Tried even sanding down a bit like it says if there are teeth marks in paint already (which there aren't on the inside)...guess what?! STILL WON'T STICK to inside of crib. Garbage product. Wish i could get a refund or replacement. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I have a love hate relationship with this stuff. It is literally the only thing in the market that I can find to protect the solid ends of our crib from my chewy baby. It does the job, but not that well. Mine started coming only a few days after application in the spots where he chews the most. I will buy again only because I haven’t found anything else that will work on my crib, but I don’t think it is a stellar product.

The reviews don’t really give this thing justice. I honestly didn’t expect much but I was desperate. We have cloth bite guards that baby kept moving. Our rail is curved so I was nervous and it also has some paint and wood damage.To install: I unrolled the strip and then laid it out over the crib rail. I then attached it to the rail by using cut rubber bands that had been tied off. This was to give it shape before adhering it. I let that sit for 5 or 6 hours with the cloth crib rail over it. Then I cut off the rubber bands and adhered the strip. The instructions say not to try to stretch it. I skipped the sanding step for if you had damage since the part with adhesive wouldn’t be touching the damaged part of the rail. After adhering it I added the cloth bumper over the silicon strip for extra protection.

Item is entirely too expensive for the quality. It is simply a strip of clear rubberized plastic with two strips of "adhesive" on the ends of one side. Firstly, it smelled of chemicals and needed a day to off-gas. Secondly, the adhesive on this is pathetic. There is no adhesive quality to it whatsoever. Even following the instructions, it failed. The "adhesive strips" started to peel away from the actual rubber. So I had one strip of smelly rubber plastic that had memory shaping from the package and two strips of thin hardly tacky tape. Please please please trust me when I say this is utterly useless. I gave it a shot in spite of the reviews being mixed, and now have to add my experience with everyone hoping that it will be wiped off the market or meet a competitor to build it better. Look elsewhere.

I used it for my daughter about 4 years ago and it was ok, so I decided to try it with my son, I ordered and install it before he even slept on the crib and to my surprise the rail cover broke (I can handle it not sticking but it cracked on the seems no pressure no kid all by it self) I will definitely want a refund!!

The media could not be loaded.  Not only did this not stick well, coming up from the crib rail every time my son would put his mouth up to it, but the parts that did stick pulled up the paint when I removed them. I followed the instructions multiple times very closely to be sure I was doing it right, but I still could not get it to stick, my son saliva would get underneath of the guard and would cause it to lose its stickiness

Terrible product. I bought against my better judgement after reading other not so great reviews. It does not stick. It’s a complete waste. I followed the instructions thoroughly in hopes I’d get a better grip. Nope! Don’t waste your money.

Tiene pésimo pegamento, en seguida se despega del barandal de la cuna. Es muy buena idea el producto, pero la calidad del pegamento malísimo. Yo lo pegué en dos cunas y no pegó bien, apesar de que seguimos las instrucciones.

Pésimo!! No se adhiere a las superficies ni por un momento.

Muy mala calidad. Lo colocamos y paso un momento en que mi bebe quiera morderlo y se despega.Muy malo el producto
