AV/CVBS Composite to HDMI Converter Scaler 1080P … (VGA to HDMI)

I use this to test monitors/cables at work. You can power it through the USB which is a lifesaver. Five starts, boy!

This device worked for me for about 5 weeks then died; no longer will display video to my TV. I reconnected my laptop directly to the PC port on my TV and it still works that way, so I know the adapter is bad. Of course it is outside of the return policy so I am stuck with a useless piece of plastic. This is not worth buying.

These will NOT work if you don't have an adapter. Please do COMPLETE research before buying this.

Works great converting my HP laptop VGA out to HDMI to use with a Samsung led flat screen TV that has an HDMI input!

It says in the product description, "It allows users to enjoy their high definition image and sound when watching movies or playing games on the traditional VGA monitors or projectors"Totally false. It does the opposite. It allows you to use a VGA computer port and hook that up to an HDMI slot in a monitor or TV. I just bought this and was ripped off by completely wrong product information.If you want to use a device that has HDMI on a VGA monitor, you are looking for the opposite of what this is. This product has HDMI output and VGA input. Look for VGA output and HDMI input.
