Overlord, Vol. 4 (light novel): The Lizardman Heroes Kindle Edition

Fantastic as always, I think this was awesome, the whole set-up. Having it from the point of view of the lizardmen was a fantastic idea readers of Kugane will be glued to this book as much as his others, true Ainz Ooal Gown isn't in it as much but that's alright, this truly sets it up so you feel the lizardmens despair.

Bought this as a gift. Everything was as described and arrived early. We haven’t heard anything negative from the recipient so you get 5 stars from us. We will update the review should we hear anything else regarding this purchase.

I was excited for my new copy to come in the mail, but the translation could use some work. It's like someone ran a google translate on the original japanese without bothering to change the wording to fit English.I'd buy a copy to support the author, but I'd read the fan translations of the original japanese light novel as its like 5x superior since it seems Yen Press skipped out at getting a real translator for the book. A bit disappointed.

I feel like I repeat myself alot but this was a great book. Short, but great. If you're a fan of the anime this book picks up immediately after it although there are slight alterations between the Anime series and the books, it is easy enough to pickup on.

Volume four has been great, love the big clash between lizardmen and undead and the final battle between the floor guardian and the lizard men’s champions was awesome.

Great read and I love the far off premise. I love that the writer hasn't tried to explain the cause of the transition with some sappy garbage and that our anti-hero continues bumbling his way to greatness! I was never one to watch Anime or Manga but this story has caught my imagination and interest.

Well we start a new arc, and we are finally past season 1 of the anime, I hope to be more enthralled as I read on. Great read and a great Light Novel.

Amazing depiction of struggle against impossible odds love the depth of characters for the Lizardman

I had already seen the anime adaptation before reading this instalment but it did not reduce my enjoyment of the book. In fact it made me appreciate an additional depth to the story which was left out of the anime. I would definitely recommend this book to fans of the series. For those new to Overlord I would suggest beginning at book one and advise that the story gets better with each instalment so do not give up if you find the first book leaves something to be desired as the later ones definitely deliver.

An exellent addition to the series, the book takes place from the POV of characters that are being invaded by Ainz, these characters are well done and you do actually gain an attachment to them and are quite similar to what would be expected from a conventional hero group, don't worry though we still get a display of Ainz's OMG please Nerf powers though he dosn't appear in person for most of the book, Cocytus does get a bit of character building though. Can't wait to see the ramifications, looking forward to the next one

Phenomenal series, well written

I enjoy reading the Overlod series and the Lizardman arc gives it an interesting perspective to the story. I just can't get enough of this series.
