Great Value replacement for 5" Firebox Trangia Gas Stove
This fits perfectly inside my 5" Firebox stove at a fraction of the cost of the Trangia gas burner. I prefer and enjoy feather sticking and batoning to fuel my Firebox. However you do get those wet days when all you want is to get the stove going so you can fix some chow. That's where the convenience of a gas burner comes into play. But it has to be small and light, and quality. The Trangia gas burner for the 5" Firebox sells for around $65. Do the math. This little gas burner is a steal.

Life Saver
Used it during hurricane Irma. It heats up water fairly quickly (can't be without my morning french press coffee, even during a hurricane). It's my first time using something of its kind so I can't compare it to another. The stove did not feel flimsy, or wobbly during heating of a pot of water. I highly recommend it even though I'm no expert in these kinds of gadgets.

LOVE them!!! SO small, SO easy to use!
-Bought two, one for me and my mom, for our BoB's - we both LOVE them!!! SO small, SO easy to use! At first I was like, where are the directions - it came with non! :/ Then I opened it, took out the stove, it was ridiculously easy to open, & screw onto my can of fuel. No directions needed.-The burner is small, obviously, so if you are looking to fry a pound of bacon in a cast iron pan- fugettah bowt it! But for simple and small use- small pots or cans or similar- it is awesome!-The orange plastic case is not particularly heavy duty, but I think it will be fine, unless I stomp on it.-The lid sort of snaps on, but there is no actual locking system to it. If used long enough, it might not stay a snug fit. But, I don't expect to ever use it so I am not worried about it.-There is enough room inside to put quite a few matches inside the orange case, not in the match's case, just loose. (see pics)

Fantastic little stove
Fantastic little stove! I bought a couple of the really little Etekcity ones that go right on the top of the fuel can and, they were fine, but not very stable with a pot of water on top. This one takes up a little more room in my kayak but well worth it. Used it last weekend to cook baked beans, boil water for coffee, and cook scrambled eggs. It worked great!! Super stable!

Stable for larger pots
I bought this because of good price and good reviews. It did not disappoint. It was a gift for my college age son who does more car camping but this could be good for weekend warrior backpackers too. Probably a bit too heavy for thru hikers. If a person was into bushcraft it may be useful for largerpots for sterilizing drinking water.

Not the smallest & lightest, but definitely one of the most stable mini stoves
Stable, high fire output, and portable enough although a bit on the bulky and heavy side if you're trying to shave off extra weight. Doesn't nest inside any of my cook kits, but that's okay - this isn't for lightweight thru-hiking or backpacking, but it does work for shorter backpack trips and car camping.

Excellent stove for the price!
This is an excellent device for the price wait and portability. thus far I have taken this device with me on four different trips totaling 150 miles. Every time I fired up my stove it worked perfectly, no issues with the igniter, and a great flame boiling water in a matter of minutes. My only suggestion as a first-time hiker, is that you bring a windscreen to protect the flame.

Excellent mini-burner for small meals!
Very stable stove, easy to use and ready to cook for most 1-3 person camping or bug-out meals. Used it only with Jetboil at this point, heats up like most standard / smaller stovetop burners. I would not recommend cooking a family-size stew pot or meals over 15 pounds on this burner if only for stability reasons, the surface the pot sits on can be slick and slippery depending on the pot or pan.
