Really appreciated the reimbursement check for my working laptop with a badly broken case due to failed hinges from normal use that could not be repaired by the shop. It was relatively painless to initiate the cliam, though a little hard to find a phone number to call. For some reason the check was a little less than I originally paid for the item, but only by about 10%, so I wasn't going to complain about receiving it. In all, very thankful I had this coverage, though I would have preferred to have the option to get my broken device returned to me for a return shipping fee so I could just move the old hard drive to a new machine.

I spilled apple juice on my laptop. This warrenty really came to rescue. The laptop was not fixable so I got the full money back. The whole process took a month though. I am 100% satisfied.

I NEVER buy extended warranties because they're just not worth it in the long-term if you can afford the risk of damage or loss of your products over time. Plus I can repair most electronics (laptops phones etc), so it's not worth it to me. BUT my company made me buy one for the 3000 dollar razer laptop I bought for work. (BTW Razer sucks in most ways, I hate the laptop, I hate their purchase process, I hate their support so I doubt they would have done one-tenth as well as Asurion did here.) Look this is just one data point and I understand that. But Asurion did such a great job that I felt compelled to write a review. They diagnosed it quickly (may have helped that I was a computer tech long ago and gave them the exact info to prove it was the wifi card). They shipped me a laptop box quickly and allowed me to wait until after being away from 1 month before sending it. Then they fixed it IN ONE DAY!! I shipped it to them on a Monday (or maybe even Tue), they received it on a Wed, shipped it out and I had it on Thursday (via next-day air). I was FLOORED. I'm still not sure I'll buy any extended warranties going forward because I still dont think they are wroth it. (But if you are cash-strapped that calculation may not apply to you.) But if I do (or if my company makes me), then I'm going with Asurion for sure.

My razer blade 2019 advanced had battery bloat, fixed, started to overheat so had it repasted and repaded, fixed. Both I had done at a local highly reputable repair shop and assurion sent me a check for the amount of the repair making it the most convenient customer service experience of my life. Then the re-paded/pasted repair didn't fix the heating issue, so i sent it to assurion, they couldn't fix it, and sent me what i paid for the thing. Got a new PC on the way and i’m making sure i budget in assurion again. 11/10! Make sure you do what I did and reset your PC before you send it to them. I have olders PC’s i could have used for the simple text based work in I do in the meantime so besides transferring my major files it was headache free!

Bought this for a razer laptop over 2 years ago. Thought I would have the warranty for accidentals. But my computer just crashed and would not start up again. I contacted them, created a claim. They sent out a box within a week. Sent it back over night and next day they recieved it (confirmed by text). I expected a long repair period but 2 days later I get a email stating that it was not repairable. Even though the letter said wait 10days I got a check within 3days. Saved me from losing my full value of my laptop and definitely will be purchasing this warranty for my future laptop purchases.

After purchasing this for my Razer Laptop, I had a bit of buyers remorse, seeing how bad some of the reviews were and many posts made it almost seem like it was a scam. However, after having sent my laptop in twice now, I can say with certainty that it's great and 100% worth it. Filing a claim takes 2 minutes, they send you the stuff to ship your item to em. Wait a week or so and you get it back perfectly fixed. So it's been great for me. My issue was battery bloating, Razer quoted me $200-$300 to fix it. I've had the issue twice, so I've already saved like $400 bucks with this.So yea, easy to use and very reliable In my experience.

Asurion backs their plans 100%. We had a Gaming Laptop that was unrepairable and Asurion sent us a check for the Original purchase price. Would not buy anything of value without it .
