Update: Something changed....I love these yoga pants!
Lovely, soft, stretchy in all the right way yoga pants! I love the yoga pants from NY & CO as they come in longs, and that is what my long legs need (I'm 5'7", but I need longs as I have a very short torso and long legs), I was nervous to order pants online, but took a chance. My first orders were gray and black in large. The length was perfect, but I found them to be a tad tight in the elastic around my waist where I was constantly "stretching" them and feeling a tad self-conscious. So I decided to suck it up and order the XL to see how they fit. They are much better for me, and the length again is fantastic (I would say around a 34 inseam which I prefer). I wear a 14/16 in misses clothes, so I hope that helps if you're deciding what sizes to go between.6/8/2017 update: I am still loving these yoga pants. They've held up extremely well, especially in the area where my legs touch/rub together. There are no holes or even significant signs of wear, and this is after 6-8 months of pretty much daily wear as I can wear these to the office (and do daily). But I want to provide an update to my prior review. It seems the sizing is a tad inconsistent between the colors. The XL in grey is a tad too big/loose, but the L works great for me. However, the black, the L is a tad too tight for me, but the XL is perfect.7/19/2017 update: I have to provide a new update. I recently ordered another pair of black XL regular length yoga pants and I have to sadly report that something has changed. The sizing is now different as when I put on this new XL they were soooo tight that they were making the black material shiny and they just didn't feel comfortable anymore. I'm assuming this change has happened since they started offering the petite, regular, and long sizing... I have 4 sets of the "originals" we'll call them and they were all great. You didn't need to order tall because there was plenty of material. But these new ones were about 3 inches shorter. I might have been able to make them work, but being too tight and to the point I'd be constantly yanking them down I decided that I was just going to return them. Now the hunt will begin again if/when these need to be replaced (note they're still holding up so far-but I wanted more rotation in my closet so they continue to hold up instead of them being worn every other day).

Soft and true to size
So I bought these for working in a restaurant; we're supposed to wear black slacks or chinos but I honestly just really hate non stretchy pants. These yoga pants are pretty great. They're soft and fit well, the only real downside is that the pockets don't stand out as much as I would have hoped. If they had a design or something on them they might look slightly more like acceptable work pants. For reference I am 5"8, 210lbs, 32 in waist, 47 in hips with average length legs; approximately 32 in inseam in most things. I purchased the size L and XL regular inseam in these. The inseam on both pairs is perfect with sneakers. The Large fits fine but you can tell it's stretched a little far because they look more shiny like the elastic is showing through but not sheer at all. The XL fits nicely as well, especially for work since they don't appear as shiny when wearing them. I'd probably prefer the size large for working out or anything like that because the waist is a bit more snug on me. Overall, I think these will be great as long as the inner thighs don't wear out too fast.Update: I've had these pants for a few months now and they have held up pretty well. I wear and wash both pairs multiple times per week and they have minimal pilling. The inner thigh of most of my leggings and yoga pants tends to get a lot of wear and pilling but these actually have less pilling than my much more expensive lululemon or VS sport pants. The only bad thing I have to say is the pockets do not hold up at all! On one pair both pockets are unstitched in the sides and I never put anything in them. The other pair the pockets are intact but there is a small hole in the actual pants where the top corner of the pocket is sewn together. I just wanted the pockets for looks not functionality so I don't really mind. I would definitely purchase these pants again.Second update: I’ve been wearing these pants to work 2-3 times per week for about 8 months. Both pairs recently ripped/became unsewn in the inner thigh area and are no longer wearable. They could probably be resewn but I haven’t tried to fix them yet. Overall I’d say the lifespan of these pants was decent. I may repurchase these, but I have been searching for some similar pants with a wider waistband which would probably have a more flattering fit since the waistband on these isn’t as wide as I prefer.

Best Yoga Pants ever
These are the best pants ever. They are nicely made, with actual working pockets big enough to hold my cell phone. I am 5'7" and most yoga pants shrink up within a few washings, but these are still wonderfully long. They also have not pilled up—one of my other pet peeves. I feel like they are just a tad nicer than my other yoga pants, softer, maybe even dressier if you can say yoga pants and dressy in the same sentence, but they can pass as regular pants. I have also actually done yoga in them. I wore them 3-4 times a week (in fall/winter/spring) for 2 years before they started to wear out, and as soon as they did I bought another pair.Tip: if they are too long for you (they are pretty long and don't shrink) they can be trimmed with scissors and they sort of roll a bit (like if you've cut a T-shirt) and look like they have a finished edge even when they don't. Mine didn't fray after cutting. I actually liked the super longness of these, and didn't mind if they dragged on the ground depending on shoes, but when they got a hole from dragging on the ground constantly I just cut them.
