Works well
Bought the transformer to power my new Ring2. I was tired of dealing with charging the battery on my old original Ring, especially when away from home on a long trip at which time the battery would die.Installation was easy. I swapped out an old door chime transformer which was underpowered. This has nothing to do with the transformer but Ring required an inline resistor which they don’t include. I soldered that in-line with the transformer, checked the ring status and it reported my Ring was hardwired! The transformer works as advertised and was delivered on time. It was well made and a great value too. Would buy. again.

Fixed my Ring Door Bell 2 charging issues when hardwired
I have Ring Door Bell 2, I hard wired it with 16volt/30mV transformer, the Ring app said it was hardwired. Every day the percentage of battery decreased by 1 % in spite of very rare use. I called customer service, they advised me to reset it, which I did and did not make any difference. So, Ring sent me a replacement unit which also did the same thing, was loosing 1% charge every day so went from 100% - 90% in 1 week. I decided to resend the replacement unit, and kept my original unit. I decided to change my transformer from 16volt/30mV to 24volt, 40mV - which I got on Amazon. It fixed the problem. In 24 hours, my charge went from 92% > 100%.1) Either the 24volt transformer fixed it OR2) Ring designed this unis in such a way that the power slowly decreases and once it reaches close to 90% - then charging kicks inOnly Ring engineering unit knows, but 24 volt/ 40mV transformer fixed my charging issues.

It works for now...
I bought this to power my Ring doorbell. First and foremost, it doesn't follow the typical wiring standards. White is usually common and black is the hot line. With this transformer, it's the opposite according to the instructions. It doesn't exactly exude confidence when a device like this doesn't adhere to convention. In terms of performance, it works for the most part. My doorbell shows 4000mV or so and it steadily drops off to 3850mV over the course of a month or two. When it hits 3900 mV, the doorbell warning goes on to say it's not getting enough power. A few days later it jumps back up to 4000mV. Not sure what's going on, but assuming heat since it's in the attic. I probably wouldn't buy it again...the black common/white hot line just doesn't exude confidence.

Perfect for multiple Ring Video Doorbell Pro's
Worked perfectly for my two (2) Ring video doorbell Pro's. I had an existing 16V transformer that was fine for one Pro doorbell, but when I added a 2nd one for the back door, the 16V transformer couldn't handle both. Upgraded to this 24V model and both work perfectly with no drops in power or connection. Easy to install and works perfectly.

It came with a gift too!
It works, that’s all you need to know!It came with a free key chain of a cute bicycle. It surprised me really... because I was buying a transformer.

It works but...won’t solve problems with Ring doorbell.
It works, but...puts out 24V AC really more like 28V so that you still get 24V over long wire runs. They say it works with all Ring devices, but it did nothing to make the Ring doorbell work. If you want to make your Ring device work with a chime type doorbell, this will not solve your problem.

Easy to use, works like you expect
It's a bit bigger than the lesser VA rated transformer it replace--not unexpected, but something to keep in mind. Trivial to pull the old one and put the new one in--remember to kill power to the hot side 120V connections.
