Dunlop The Suppressor Pro Sound Hole Cover 1-Hole Black

I have two guitars with a 3-7/8" and hoped that this would drop in without too much fussing or string loosening. It is just thick enough to fit under the strings while they are all carefully lifted up under full tension. However, just like the KMC Feed Back Suppressor, it is exactly 4.05" and takes too much force, then distorts with a 3-7/8" hole. It is easily sanded to 3.90 with a Dremel sanding drum to snug into a 3-7/8 (3.875)" sound hole so that it takes no un-nerving force to install. Would appreciate it if they were made with a 3-7/8" groove right below the flange so they would fit the advertised diameter range and still seal well enough to do the job. 5 stars if it did.

Just barely fit in my Ibanez Artwood with Fishman pickups. Definitely had to push harder than I was comfortable with, but I managed to work it in slowly, and it works great!! I was always fighting with my amp to get loud enough on the acoustic without generating feedback, now I don't have to adjust anything when switching from the electric - I can just play..tone is good plugged in.. though I can't say it sounds exactly the same unplugged, I'm sure this performs better than its competitors due to the vent in the middle, but still, it seems to have lost some of the range of tone so I would still remove it for playing unplugged (hopefully it goes in a little easier the second time).

As you can tell from the subject of this review, I purchased this sound hole cover to use with my GSMini with onboard ES-T® pickup. The suppressor is easy to slip in and out, it fits very well, and it works as intended. I have used it in a large gym in performance with a 5-piece band and I got all the volume it needed to play without any feedback.

I got tired of the squeel and feedback from my guitar internal mic, but I knew that it captured my instruments true tone. So a little on line research lead me to this device that freed me from worry every time a new sound venue came along. it fits well into the sound hole of the guitar after you loosen the strings first then performs it funtion with out distraction to the player. I order two more for my other guitars. now I can cut loose with the electric players in bigger rooms at higher levels.

Way too big for my guitar. That's my fault. But the thing is weak and will bend in half if you apply too much pressure to it on each side of the slit. It's aluminum and rubber.

Great, but unfortunately does not fit my Takamine guitar sound hole. Hopefully will fit my other acoustic guitars

Works as advertised. Needed to be trimmed to fit.
